## `COALESCE` [esql-coalesce]

**Syntax**

**Parameters**

`first`
:   Expression to evaluate.

`rest`
:   Other expression to evaluate.

**Description**

Returns the first of its arguments that is not null. If all arguments are null, it returns `null`.
